About Jack
I help organizations make their data, reporting, measurement, and digital systems more trustworthy and easier to use.
Much of my work starts when a team knows something is not working quite right, but the actual cause is unclear. Reports disagree. Tracking produces different numbers. Employees rely on spreadsheets instead of the system that is supposed to support them. Data needs repeated manual correction. A process works, but nobody is completely sure why.
My role is usually to understand what is happening, identify the underlying problem, and help determine the smallest useful way to fix it.
What I work on
My consulting work through Unified Stack focuses on areas where business processes, data, and digital systems intersect.
- Marketing measurement and conversion tracking
- CRM and business data quality
- Salesforce reporting
- Website accessibility
- Product and digital asset data
- Marketing and revenue operations
The technology matters, but the business question comes first.
How I work
Clear scope before the work begins
You should know what I am reviewing, what is included, what is not included, what you will receive, and when a change in scope requires another discussion.
Assessments stand on their own
An assessment should still be useful if you decide not to hire Unified Stack for implementation.
You can implement the recommendations internally, work with another provider, or ask me to help with remediation.
Understand the process before changing the system
Workarounds often contain business rules, exceptions, classifications, reconciliation logic, and institutional knowledge that never made it into the official system.
Before eliminating or automating a workaround, I want to understand why people created it and what information it preserves.
Your team keeps the knowledge
Findings, documentation, recommendations, and implementation knowledge should stay with your organization.
The goal is to leave your team with a better understanding of the system and what changed, not to create unnecessary dependence on a consultant.
No project for the sake of a project
Not every problem requires a rebuild, migration, new platform, or long consulting engagement.
If a smaller fix is sufficient, that is the direction I will recommend.
Background
My professional background spans business analysis, Salesforce, reporting, marketing technology, analytics, data quality, integrations, digital asset and product information systems, and website technology.
That combination means I often work on problems that do not fit neatly inside one platform or department. A reporting problem may actually be a data problem. A tracking problem may begin with consent or website implementation. A spreadsheet workaround may contain business logic that the CRM does not.
I try to understand those connections before recommending changes.
Unified Stack
Unified Stack is my consulting business. It focuses on helping organizations improve the reliability and usefulness of the digital systems they already depend on.
The focus is practical: trustworthy data, useful reporting, reliable measurement, accessible digital experiences, and systems that support the way the organization actually works.
